The Godfather is among the hardly any films that does not have one flaw. Seeing The Godfather for The very first time was one of the most amazing Motion picture activities of my daily life. There is scenes that stay with you when the films over, therefore you remember them. Anyone can make the mistake of calling this film a Motion picture about criminal offense. Its definitely a Film about relatives. The dialogue is just unbelievable. I have observed the Film a minimum of 30, forty instances, and I'm nonetheless stunned at how excellent it is. The tunes, the performing, every little thing. Folks think that Citizen Kane is the greatest Motion picture at any time rfectly, there's no way that ANYONE can believe Citizen Kane is a lot more moving, and it has a greater storyline compared to the Godfather. The matter I locate so astounding concerning the Godfather is how Michael (Al Pacino) improvements throughout the movie. Its my impression this is the greatest movie ever designed, and I doubt that any one can look at this Motion picture, and Believe I am ridiculous.

I'm a 35-year-old Italian American man and for three and a half decades, the Godfather and the Godfather Part II have existed in the background of my consciousness. I've heard the pop culture references. I've pieced together what some of them meant (Leave the gun, take the cannoli) through context. They've maybe even been on in the background as I played with toys as a child. But today was the first time I truly watched both films and, I'm sure this is a hot take: They're really good. First, an explanation. I decided to watch these two flicks as I absolutely adored the Irishman when it came out on Netflix last year. So much so that I've watched it three times. That got me into a rabbit hole where I watched Goodfellas and Casino for the first time in at least 15 years apiece. Naturally, with this coronavirus pandemic giving me all sorts of free time, I finally decided to take the plunge on two of the most beloved movies of all time. If I had to choose, I give a very clear advantage to the first Godfather over the sequel. It's just a perfect movie. Full of intrigue, amazing characters (Both main and secondary). A great, easy to follow plot. Several intense moments. It's just amazing all around. The sequel is a damn good followup and I absolutely LOVED everything with young Vito. My only complaint is everything involving Hyman Roth. Maybe it's because Roth's dealings were mostly kept in the dark throughout the film or because the character seemed largely to be a secondary villain. I'm not sure why but he just wasn't nearly as interesting as some of the opposition Vito and Michael faced in Part I and, because of that, I really believe the flick suffered. I know this is one of the most hotly-contested debates in film history but that's pretty much my only complaint about either film and why I'd give a slight edge over the original movie compared to it's follow-up. Really only posting here to see what everyone else thinks about these films and the impact they've had on modern cinema. And, yes, I will be watching the much maligned Part III at some point in the next day or two.

Do you understand! ” Yes dad. I understand. Thank goodness that they did not choose Richard Conte (who played Barzini) to play as the godfather. I heard that production company big shots insisted on him because they considerably disliked Marlon Brando. Frances Coppola, the Director, won with his Brando choice at the end, with great difficulty. Coppola also insisted on the unknown Al Pacino who was hated by those same big shot idiots.

I always love the Turk's irritation at the waiter. Al Neri was one of my favorites. Real cop that turned bad after beating a couple men with his Billy cub and Michael exposed that. Best movie I've seen so far. Masterpiece I dare to say.
